Voices of the unhoused

2020, with Donna Oblongata

Hand drawn and digitally edited portraits, interviews, zine, wheatpaste

Donna and I teamed up to address an issue facing the residents of the encampment that sprung up in central Philadelphia in the summer of 2020: the press, though covering the encampment closely, never bothered to amplify the stories of its residents. Donna interviewed residents while I drew their portraits; their stories were then printed and disseminated across the encampment and the city through zine libraries and wheatpasting.
